We are looking for motivated and passionate Senior 3D Character Artist to join our team. As an experienced 3D Character Artist, you will have a portfolio with excellent understanding of 3-D computer programs such as Maya and Max. You enjoy working as part of a team, but have a pro-active approach with a hunger to take responsibility on an individual level.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Model and Texture game-ready assets using Maya or 3dsMax
Visual and technical understanding of 3D modeling & texturing of high and low poly characters
Able to build complex character models
Quickly build complex organic meshes and hard surface environmental and prop models
Works well in a collaborative environment
Able to take direction from the Leads and Supervisors and feedback from the Directors
REQUIREMENTS
Previous production experience or exceptional artistic skills/abilities in CGI/traditional artwork
Excellent understanding of 3-D computer programs such as Maya and Max
3+ years of industry experience modeling in Sub D’s and/or Poly’s using Maya and or Max
Previous experience with traditional 3D sculpting a plus
Excellent knowledge of anatomy
Experience with rigging a plus
Strong problem solving skills and a good eye required
Proven ability to be detail oriented and to work efficiently within a production environment
Self-motivated, excellent communication skills and a great team-player attitude
